Welcome to the six annual Ballarat Weekly Times Rural Lifestyle Expo 2017!
We are extremely happy to have The Weekly Times as our major sponsor.
The 2016 event proved to be extremely popular. We had numbers increased through the gate and the number of trade displays expanded. Our exit survey provided excellent feedback on how we could make the event more useful to the public.
The Weekly Times Rural Lifestyle Expo brings together the experts and representatives from rural businesses who can help people increase their skills and knowledge and make significant purchasing decisions.
For 2017 we will have more speakers, more demonstrations and more trade displays. There are livestock advisors, suppliers of machinery and all the equipment that rural lifestyle people need. Veterinary professionals, a sustainability theme, fencing experts and a host of other representatives will be on site for you to speak to.
If your need is how to grow pastures, how to make an income off a small farm, what the local advice is on growing farm produce, what farm bike/farm machinery to buy, or information for sustainable energy practices, then you should find the answer at this busy one day event.
Add to this a Food Zone with cookiing demos and talks, a new taste pavilion to a new food truck area all on offer - make sure you bring a basket and come hungry.
We also have a new goat zone, bird feature and expanded horse, sheep and cattle areas, not to mention the fun of the working dogs and obedience pups.
From an exhibitor's point of view, we offer generous undercover or outdoor space, excellent parking facilities, and a supportive environment with likeminded exhibitors in this rapidly growing regional area.
I look forward to seeing you at our Rural Lifestyle Expo.
