JANE BUNN

Jane Bunn is best known for her role as the meteorologist who presents the weather on WIN News in Victoria. Jane writes and presents six separate weather bulletins each week-day, shown around regional Victoria. Her passion, knowledge and sunny disposition have made Jane’s weather segments much watch TV across the state at 6.50pm weeknights.

Jane studied Atmospheric Science at Monash University. After graduating, she was one of nine students from around Australia to be accepted into the Graduate Diploma of Meteorology given by the Bureau of Meteorology.  Jane then worked as a forecaster in Sydney, Canberra and at the RAAF Williamtown Base before joining The Weather Channel as their morning meteorologist.
 

Jane joined the WIN News team in June 2009 and has loved the move to Ballarat. When she isn’t studying the weather or presenting on the news Jane enjoys visiting the farmers markets for local produce to cook up delicious meals for friends. Jane also likes walking around Lake Wendouree, going to the movies and that it only takes 10 minutes to get to work each day!
